Happy 3rd Birthday, Anderson!!!

Dear Anderson,
       Today, you are turning 3 years old. It's hard to believe you are so big! You cannot imagine how much joy you bring me every single day. You make me laugh and smile because you are so funny. You are just the sweetest little boy. You are such a little character too. You have changed so much over the last year - you really are a little boy now. You are my little buddy who loves to go everywhere with me. :) And I love that! There is so much that makes you who you are, and I want to share that. I also want to share all the changes over the last year.

• You love SPORTS! You honestly would like to play every sport out there I think. Baseball is your favorite, but football, basketball, soccer, hockey, and golf are right up there too. You play all day and constantly switch from one sport to another. You have a UGA jersey, Falcons jersey, and Celtics jersey that you wear every day. You also have your "basketball" shorts, football pants, and baseball pants (that are too small) that you wear. I can walk into your room at any time of day, and there will be some item of clothing on the floor. You seriously change 20 times a day!
• You were hitting a "pitched" ball a little after you turned 2. You were also punting a football.
• You have your "Big Kids" that you play with and talk to. I think these are your imaginary friends which I get a little concerned about, but Steven tells me it's okay. :)
• You love to be outside!
• You love to sing. "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" is one of your favorites. You also sing "Jesus Loves Me," "Jesus Loves the Little Children," "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," and several others with me when you are going to sleep.
• You like to color and paint.
• You love to read! I love this about you too! Your favorite book is Here Comes the Strikeout (we call it Bobby).
• You are into Thomas the Train.
• You love to play games - Candyland, George memory game, Go Fish, your baseball card game, and Slap Jack.
• You love to eat! Peanut butter sandwiches is by far your favorite meal. Sweet potatoes are 2nd.
• You can recognize all 26 letters of the alphabet when I hold up flash cards. Sometimes you get K and X mixed up, but that's pretty impressive!
• You were potty-trained a few months after you turned 2.
• You knew all your colors before you turned 2.
• You have become much more independent. You can dress yourself - except for your shirt.
• You started saying "Me luz you" about 6 months ago. The sweetest thing ever!
• You started going to MMO one day a week back in August and you really love it now! When I pick you up, you say "Me miss you!" :) So sweet!
• You like going to church now.
• You gave up the pacifier about a month and a half ago. This was great, but you haven't taken a single nap in your bed since then. Daddy or I have to lay down with you now at bedtime. :)
• You are a wonderful big brother to Isaiah! Ya'll play so good together, and for the most part you are very careful with him. You have never really been jealous of him which made it such an easy transition.
• You are a great helper!
• You like to "box" in your underwear right before bathtime. :)

I know I've left some things off, so if I remember them I'll come back and add them. You are such a blessing to me and your Daddy. Words really cannot explain how sweet and neat you are. You are one of a kind.
