Christmas Time

December is my favorite month of the year! I've been meaning to put up my Christmas decoration pictures, so here they are. I have always put up the tree the weekend after Thanksgiving. This year we actually went to the Farmer's Market the Wednesday before and bought the tree. It's a big decision for me too! I took the camera, but I forgot to take pictures of picking it out. Then I decorated (with a little help from Anderson) on Sunday. Steven watched the Falcons. :) I figured it would be interesting with Isaiah, but he has actually done really good. Of course, he tries to get an ornament or a present every now and then, but overall it hasn't been an issue. Last year, I fixed a tree for Anderson, so he has that in his room along with his nativity scene - which is now his and Isaiah's. I have a nice nativity scene set up in the den, but Anderson likes to play with it more than his. So now the cow is missing his horns and an ear. Joseph is missing a thumb. The wise men are missing parts of their crowns. And who knows what else! LOL! I usually find them all piled up in the stable. :) And Larry showed up right after Thanksgiving too! Anderson loves getting up every morning to see where his new hiding spot is. Nonnie found a great advent calendar this year too. Anderson loves to move the people/animals around, so it usually isn't "accurate." :) The one thing I've really missed this year is our mantle. I've had to make-do here at the apartment!
