11 Months Old

Where has the time gone? I can't believe I am already planning your first birthday! Crazy! I was looking at a picture of you the other day when you were a couple of weeks old. It makes me sad that you are growing up so quickly! I really can't believe it! You are still my little stinker who is always into everything. :) I spend my days chasing after you. There are days when Anderson and I just look at each other after you have done something and just smile or laugh. It gets funnier and funnier to watch you with Anderson. The aggravation has already started on both ends. True brothers!! :)  So here is what you are doing these days...

11 months old

• Sleeping about 12 hours each night. You've done better the last couple of nights - only woke up once! You have been sick and coughing so that wakes you up right now. I'm hoping once you're all well, that we will stick with once a night or maybe even no wake-ups! You just need to be nursed to go back to sleep right now - not sure how I will ever break this habit!
• You nap 2 times a day.
• I'm still nursing you which I'm go glad about!
• For the most part, you are a good eater. You just don't like to be in the high chair for very long. I'm making most of your food these days. I only give you a jar occasionally. I still puree most fruits/vegetables. I made whole wheat banana pancakes this morning, and you seemed to really like those! You had meat loaf for the first time last week (of course mashed up).
• You drink out of straw cup and love that so much more than a sippy cup. You never get choked either!
• You have a new tooth on top, and its' not one of your two front teeth. :) It's probably the one next to the front - pretty funny!
• You stand up in the middle of the room now. You actually took 3 steps a few days ago!
• You like to give "5."
• You kiss sometimes - just kind of in the air.
• You love playing ball with Daddy and Anderson.
• You are strong! (Strong-willed too :))
• You still like to climb.
• You LOVE to be outside!
• You are saying a lot more sounds - buh, nuh. There have been times when it really sounds like "mama" and "daddy" too.
• You love to open and shut doors and open cabinets. This is not a good thing! You actually opened the refrigerator yesterday - really not good!
• I love you so much, and I love watching all the new things you are doing!
