Future MDS ballplayer...

Steven dressed Anderson in his baseball uniform the other night. :) He is definitely the cutest player on the team! As most of you know, Steven is coaching the c-team this year. Anderson just knows that Daddy goes to the ball field every afternoon. He hasn't actually been out there yet. So today was their first game. I told Anderson yesterday that we were getting to go to the game. He was so excited! He woke up this morning talking about the "ball sield." He had on his hat and boots as soon as he ate breakfast. Then he packed his backpack with two balls, his glove, and his hat. :) He was ready! To him, it was a LONG morning. The game didn't start until 1:00. I think he really thought that he was going to play baseball. As soon as we got there, he was ready to go on the field. :) He saw Daddy out there, so why not!?! But he had fun playing and watching. Then when the first game was over, he got to go on the field with Daddy. I wish I had taken my camera because it was just the sweetest thing. (Nonnie is saying I told you so right now :)) He pitched a couple of balls on the pitcher's mound and then ran around. He even got in a few slides. Unfortunately, he couldn't play for long because they had to get ready for the next game. A fall out came soon after, but we eventually got it back together and headed home. :) We can't wait to go to the next game!
