It's amazing how much more fun Christmas morning is when you have a child. I kept waking up during the night because I was so excited. I finally got up around 7:15 while my boys were sound asleep. I decided to make pancakes while I waited. Anderson finally woke up around 8:15. I actually had just sent Steven in there to wake him up, but he found him awake. So I had the regular camera while Steven had the video camera. The first thing Anderson really noticed was the slide. He was SO EXCITED! I'm so glad Santa left it in the den for him. I know that was his favorite thing! The slide also has a basketball goal on the side, a place to throw a football, and a place to kick a soccer ball. So he loved the fact that balls came with it! He also got a Thomas the Train set, some tools, a tractor, a Boz video, stickers, new crayons, a basketball goal for the tub, and a few more things. He had so much fun with everything. I don't think he stopped playing all day!
We also had lots of visitors throughout the day. Nonnie, Big Dawg, and Jeff came up and ate lunch and visited. Then Grandmama and Granddaddy came over after lunch. Later in the day, Mamaw, Papaw, Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Dawn came up to visit and eat dinner.
Anderson really wanted to take his slide to bed with him last night. :)
We had a wonderful day! We hope you had a Merry Christmas too!!!
How fun! I love how happy he looks on the slide. I heard that Steven had some fun with Anderson's instruments too. :)
