Trash Cans

I love those times when I can actually just sit down and watch Anderson play. He can get so busy just playing all by himself, and it's so fun to watch. This week and especially today has been so busy, so I was very surprised that I could actually just sit for a little bit. Some of you know that Anderson has this fascination with trash cans - I mean a BIG fascination! It started with the big green trash can outside. Now it's moved into the house as well. He likes to pick up his trash can in his room and carry it around. He especially likes to take it out to the big trash can and dump it, which I let him do about once a week. Now he's started getting the one in the "sanctuary" too. So this afternoon I just watched him get both trash cans and carry them around. There was a small piece of paper in one of them that he kept pouring from one to the other. Then he would walk to the door and point to the big green one (today is our trash day which is Anderson's favorite day of the week!). He was so happy and was just a talkin' the whole time - just precious!
